CHALLENGE: create a brand for a spin studio designed to help keep students fit through an experience curated by in-house dj’s and lighting techs, making it feel like you’re out clubbing instead of in a gym. The brand is "strong, fresh, vibey, trendy and youthful."

Logo Conceptualization
First, using the five key words of the brand – strong, fresh, vibey, trendy, youthful – coupled with the purpose of the company, a spin studio, I brainstormed logo concepts. I was immediately drawn to creating a logo that worked with and manipulated with the letters in the word. Using the curvature of the "C" and "B" at each end of "Curb," I played with the scale and placement of the remaining letters to create a logo reminiscent of a bicycle.





Vision Board
After creating the logo, I returned to the five defining adjectives of the brand and searched for visual inspiration to build the brand's visual identity. I was drawn to bold colors and lines, with sharp edges and an upbeat, dynamic visual language. From here, I developed out these colors in the branding material.

Branding Material
Combining the logo and vision board, I developed branding material for curb spin studio. This material includes variations on the logo, stationary, social media presence, merchandising, and in-house equipment.










App Conceptualization
Based on the initial prompt as well as some market research, I developed wireframes and high-fidelity mockups of an app students may use to coordinate and keep track of everything related to curb.
