Better Place Forests
Better Place Forests has created conservation memorial forests across the country, currently open in California, Arizona, and Minnesota. Their forests are "sustainable alternatives to cemeteries; instead of graves and tombstones, families choose a private, protected family tree to return their ashes to the earth together."
The online forest tour is one of two ways (the other being an in person forest visit) customers may select and purchase a memorial tree.
Existing Design
The tour takes the user through different selection screens, ultimately ending on the selection of a memorial tree. Prior to launching the forest tour, the customer has expressed which forest they are interested in. The selections include forest section, tier (proximity to visitor center), size of tree, and species of tree. After making their selections, customers are presented with a summary of what is included in their memorial tree purchase, as well as an opportunity to select a specific tree (otherwise, they'll receive a random tree that fits their selected preferences).
